Tell Me Your Story

Welcome to
From Grief to Giggles!

My name is Stefani, and I know what it is to have life split into a before and after.

I was widowed more than 20 years ago, and since then I’ve been learning how grief changes over time. It does not disappear. It does not follow a neat little timeline. It becomes part of the life you keep living, showing up in ordinary places, quiet moments, hard anniversaries, unexpected laughter, and the strange little details no one thinks to warn you about.

From Grief to Giggles grew out of that long middle place; the place where you are no longer in the first shock of loss, but you are still carrying it. The place where you can be functioning, laughing, working, loving your family, making dinner, answering emails, and still have grief tap you on the shoulder.

I am not a counselor, pastor, or grief expert with a clipboard. I am a widow who has lived long enough with loss to know that healing is rarely tidy, hope can be stubborn, and laughter sometimes finds its way back before you know what to do with it.

Here, you’ll find honest reflections, practical resources, and words for the parts of grief that can be hard to explain. Some pieces are for widows; some are for the people who love them and want to help without making things heavier. All of it is written with the belief that grief deserves honesty, tenderness, and an occasional raised eyebrow.

If something here helps you feel a little less alone, I’m grateful you found your way here.
